Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Insurance Account Manager to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain an assigned portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, responding promptly to inquiries, resolving issues, and providing expert guidance on insurance policies.
- Collaborate with sales producers and underwriters to design and present comprehensive insurance solutions tailored to meet clients' unique business needs.
- Process policy renewals, endorsements, cancellations, and other transactions with accuracy and timeliness.
- Conduct periodic policy reviews with clients to discuss coverage options, identify potential gaps, and assess evolving insurance needs.
- Assist with claims processing by guiding clients through procedures and liaising with insurers for efficient resolution.
- Monitor and document client interactions in the agency management system to ensure transparency and continuity of service.
- Stay current with insurance industry trends, regulations, and market developments to provide informed advice to clients.
- Actively contribute to ongoing process improvements, team collaboration, and department initiatives.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Proven experience as an Account Manager (minimum of 3+ years) in commercial insurance or a related role.
- Active and valid P&C (Property and Casualty) License.
- Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, coverage types, and industry practices.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a proactive and client-focused approach.
- Strong organizational abilities, including prioritizing tasks, managing deadlines, and keen attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex insurance concepts clearly.
- Proficiency in agency management systems (e.g., AMS360, Applied Epic) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Team player with a strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.
- Experience working with a variety of industries or specialized insurance markets - preferred.
