Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team. The Account Manager will be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, building strong relationships with clients, and ensuring their insurance needs are met. The successful candidate will have a strong background in account management in the insurance industry and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, including renewals and new business placements
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their insurance needs and providing tailored solutions
  • Collaborate with insurance carriers to negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing for clients
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and changes in regulations to provide informed advice to clients
  • Effectively communicate with clients, underwriters, and internal teams to ensure smooth account management processes
  • Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Previous independent agency experience is required
  • Previous construction and energy experience is a plus
  • 3+ years of relevant insurance industry experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of insurance products and coverages for commercial lines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Proficiency in relevant software and systems
  • Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license
  • Professional designations (such as CIC, CISR, CRM) are a plus
