Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Employee Benefits Account Manager to join our team. The Employee Benefits Account Manager will be responsible for managing client relationships and ensuring the successful implementation and administration of employee benefit programs. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of employee benefits, and the ability to provide exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong relationships
  • Consult with clients to understand their employee benefit needs and develop tailored solutions
  • Manage groups' renewal cycles from start to finish, with limited producer involvement
  • Coordinate the implementation of new benefit programs and ensure smooth administration
  • Conduct regular reviews of benefit plans to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Provide guidance and support to clients on benefit plan compliance and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve client issues and deliver high-quality service
  • Stay current on industry trends and changes in benefit regulations to provide informed guidance to clients

Qualifications/Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant insurance industry experience as an account manager – preferred
  • Proven experience in employee benefits account management or a related role
  • Strong understanding of benefit plan design, compliance, and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Holds an active L&H (Life and Health) insurance license

Compensation Package

  • Compensation: Between $55k-$80k (based on experience)
