ABOUT US:

The Jonus Group is a specialized insurance staffing firm that connects top talent with industry-leading clients. We are seeking an experienced Non-Standard Auto Casualty Claims Adjuster to join our client’s team. This is a great opportunity for an adjuster with strong knowledge of non-standard auto policies and claims practices.

COMPENSATION:

• $60,000 - $90,000/year based on experience
• Quarterly bonus

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in non-standard auto claims adjusting.
• Strong knowledge of non-standard auto policies and coverages.
• Must have experience bodily injury handling claims up to fatalities
• Experience with claims management software.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple claims efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Bilingual skills (e.g., English/Spanish) are a plus.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Investigate, evaluate, and settle non-standard auto claims, including bodily injury, property damage, and total loss claims.
• Review coverage, assess liability, and set appropriate reserves.
• Obtain and review police reports, statements, and repair estimates.
• Negotiate settlements with claimants, attorneys, and repair facilities.
• Identify potential fraud and escalate cases when necessary.
