Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, developing strong client relationships, and ensuring overall client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and service a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, including renewals, endorsements, and claims processing
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as their main point of contact for all insurance-related inquiries
  • Collaborate with underwriters and carriers to negotiate terms, coverages, and pricing for clients
  • Review policy documents for accuracy and completeness, and address any discrepancies
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on risk management and loss control strategies
  • Stay current on industry trends, regulations, and market conditions to provide proactive recommendations to clients
  • Assist in preparing and conducting client presentations and insurance program reviews
  • Work closely with the sales team to identify opportunities for account rounding and new business development

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Proven experience in commercial insurance account management
  • 5+ years of relevant insurance industry experience preferred
  • Previous middle market account experience is required
  • Strong knowledge of commercial property and casualty insurance products and coverages
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Proficiency in insurance agency management systems and Microsoft Office suite
  • Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license
