Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, developing strong client relationships, and ensuring overall client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Manage and service a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, including renewals, endorsements, and claims processing
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as their main point of contact for all insurance-related inquiries
- Collaborate with underwriters and carriers to negotiate terms, coverages, and pricing for clients
- Review policy documents for accuracy and completeness, and address any discrepancies
- Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on risk management and loss control strategies
- Stay current on industry trends, regulations, and market conditions to provide proactive recommendations to clients
- Assist in preparing and conducting client presentations and insurance program reviews
- Work closely with the sales team to identify opportunities for account rounding and new business development
Qualifications/Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial insurance account management
- 5+ years of relevant insurance industry experience preferred
- Previous middle market account experience is required
- Strong knowledge of commercial property and casualty insurance products and coverages
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Proficiency in insurance agency management systems and Microsoft Office suite
- Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license
