Job Summary

This position provides essential service and support functions, ensuring the smooth operation of the agency. In addition, this role assists with managing client relationships, handling account management tasks, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional service.
Responsibilities
- Process employee benefits applications, quotes, renewals, and administrative tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Assist Account Managers in maintaining strong client relationships and addressing routine client communications and inquiries.
- Handle paperwork, enrollments, terminations, and documentation for employee benefits accounts.
- Gather, analyze, and provide insights on data to support decision-making and problem-solving.
- Maintain organized and accurate records of client interactions, transactions, and account changes.
- Assist in the initial stages of claim management, problem-solving, and compliance efforts.
- Collaborate with Account Managers to address complex issues and ensure client satisfaction.
- Aid Account Managers in the renewal process for insurance policies and monitoring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Participate in benefits consultations, provide basic information and support during client meetings, and prepare materials/documentation.
- Follow up with clients on action items and tasks discussed during meetings, ensuring timely responses and support.
- Support Account Managers in strategic planning, account management, and ensuring all necessary information is readily available for client interactions.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of insurance products and coverage, as well as health and ancillary products
- Holds active Accident & Health (A&H) and Life insurance licenses.
- 3+ years of relevant insurance industry experience preferred.
- Previous experience in employee benefits account management.
- Above average computer skills with the capacity to master essential software programs.
Compensation Package
- Compensation: Between $65k-$75k (based on experience).
