Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and client-focused Personal Lines Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of personal lines insurance clients, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the main point of contact for personal lines insurance clients, addressing their inquiries and concerns in a professional and timely manner
- Manage a portfolio of client accounts, maintaining accurate records and updating client information as needed
- Analyze client insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage options
- Collaborate with insurance agents to prepare quotes and proposals for clients
- Process policy changes, endorsements, and renewals
- Stay informed about industry trends and changes in insurance regulations
- Actively promote and sell additional insurance products to existing clients
- Assist with claims processing and guide clients through the claims filing process
- Conduct regular policy reviews to ensure clients have adequate coverage
Qualifications/Requirements
- Proven experience in account management or customer service, preferably in the insurance industry
- Previous small- to mid-market experience required
- Previous experience with both standard personal lines and high net worth accounts preferred
- Strong knowledge of personal lines insurance products and coverages
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities
- Proficiency in insurance software and Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- A proactive and client-focused approach to problem-solving
- Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) License
