Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts and providing exceptional customer service. This individual must have a strong understanding of commercial insurance products and a proven track record of building and maintaining client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, including renewals and new business opportunities
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, providing expert advice and guidance on insurance products and coverage options
- Collaborate with underwriters and carriers to negotiate terms and pricing for clients
- Conduct policy reviews and identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional coverage options
- Stay current on industry trends and regulations to provide informed recommendations to clients
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation in compliance with agency standards and regulatory requirements
Qualifications/Requirements
- At least 3 years of relevant industry experience required
- Previous middle-market experience is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of commercial insurance products, coverage options, and underwriting processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships
- Proficient in insurance agency management systems and Microsoft Office suite
- Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) License
Compensation Package
- Compensation: Between $65k-$100k (based on experience)
