Our client, is a dynamic and customer-focused insurance carrier, committed to providing exceptional service to our policyholders. They are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Personal Auto Insurance Claims Adjuster to join our claims team. 

 

As a Personal Auto Insurance Claims Adjuster, you will play a critical role in ensuring our policyholders receive prompt and fair resolution of their claims. You will be responsible for investigating, evaluating, and negotiating personal auto insurance claims, providing a high level of customer service throughout the process.

 

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct thorough investigations to determine coverage, liability, and damages related to personal auto insurance claims.
  2. Gather and analyze relevant information, including statements from involved parties, police reports, and photos.
  3. Assess and appraise damages to vehicles and property, utilizing industry-standard tools and resources.
  4. Estimate repair costs and collaborate with repair facilities to ensure accurate assessments.
  5. Interpret insurance policies to determine coverage and liability.
  6. Collaborate with underwriters and legal teams to evaluate and address coverage issues.
  7. Negotiate fair and equitable settlements with claimants, attorneys, and other involved parties.
  8. Maintain open and clear communication throughout the negotiation process.
  9. Prepare detailed and accurate claim reports, documenting all relevant information and decisions.
  10. Utilize claims management systems to ensure proper and up-to-date record-keeping.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • 1+ years of experience handling Personal Auto/Bodily Injury Claims
  • Strong knowledge of personal auto insurance policies, coverage, and regulations.
  • Experience working for an Insurance Carrier.
  • Must hold an active adjusters license.
  • Proficiency in using claims management software and tools.

 

Salary/Benefits:

  • $70,000 to $100,000
