JOB SUMMARY:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Actuarial Analyst with experience in Life & Health Insurance to join our client's dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting the development of pricing models, evaluating reserves, and performing financial analysis to support strategic decision-making. This is an excellent opportunity for an actuarial professional who is working toward their ASA designation and is passionate about applying analytical skills to the life and health insurance sector.
COMPENSATION:
- $65,000 - $75,000/year (based on experience)

REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of actuarial experience in life and health insurance.
- Completion of at least 2–4 Society of Actuaries (SOA) exams; working toward ASA/FSA designation preferred.
- Strong proficiency in actuarial software (e.g., GGY AXIS, Prophet) and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, R, Python).
- Solid understanding of life and health insurance products, regulations, and risk management principles.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and maintain actuarial models for pricing, valuation, and forecasting of life and health insurance products.
- Analyze claims data, policyholder behavior, and mortality/morbidity trends to assess financial risk and product performance.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including reserves, loss ratios, and profitability metrics.
- Assist in the development of new life and health insurance products by evaluating pricing strategies and market competitiveness.
- Monitor regulatory changes and ensure compliance with industry standards and reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with underwriters, product managers, and finance teams to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
- Support experience studies and provide data-driven insights to enhance business performance.
- Participate in the actuarial exam process and contribute to the professional development of the actuarial team.
