Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Workers' Compensation Adjuster for a temporary position. This is an immediate opening, and we require someone who can start without a two-week notice period.
Responsibilities
- Manage and investigate workers' compensation claims
- Analyze and determine the extent of the organization's liability
- Communicate with injured employees, medical providers, and legal representatives
- Ensure compliance with state regulations and company policies
- Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Workers' Compensation Adjuster
- Strong understanding of workers' compensation laws and regulations
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with integrity
- Proficient in relevant computer applications
Day-to-Day
- Reviewing and analyzing workers' compensation claims
- Communicating with various stakeholders to gather necessary information
- Making decisions regarding the extent of the organization's liability
- Documenting all claim activities and maintaining records
