Job Description

Our client is seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented CFO to provide outstanding customer service and virtual financial guidance services to their clients. This candidate should come from an independent insurance agency as you will be a fractional CFO for 10-15+ insurance agencies across the country. 
 
Fully Remote Opportunity (either CST or EST) with travel a few times a year.

Someone who is able to adapt to changing priorities, show high initiative and be able to work independently and with a team. 
Must be comfortable with Zoom/Teams Calls and client-facing meetings. 
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Client Tasks and Customer Relations
• You will assist in providing input on current client deliverables, new innovations and the development of future business strategies.
• Provide financial training and direction to clients so as to implement financial best practices within clients.
• You will interpret the clients results, develop recommendations, and offer strategic financial guidance.
• Adapt to ever changing conditions (client requirements, time sensitivity, special projects etc.) to see that assignments are completed to customer satisfaction and in the best interest of the company.
• Acts as point of contact for assigned clients on an ongoing basis and responds to client communications and requests.
 
Administrative Items
• Track weekly/monthly/annual goals and objectives for the role.
• Use Microsoft Outlook Calendar and video conferencing software for all internal and external interactions.
• Manage SOP’s through documentation of processes through video capture and written procedures.
 
Requirements:
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or similar field of study
• Must have a minimum of 5 years as a CFO, Director of Finance/Controller or similar position - preferably in an independent insurance agency
• A self-starter with the ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
• Strong work ethic, intense drive and initiative for quality and customer service
• Must be able to work nights, weekends and travel as needed
• Must have your own reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license
• Possess clean driving record, background check
 
Position Reports To: Company President
Currently, this is a full-time, exempt position.
