Job Summary

Seeking a motivated, results-driven Commercial Lines Producer to join the team. This role involves leveraging expertise in insurance to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing customized commercial insurance solutions to meet their unique business needs. The position offers the opportunity to grow the organization's book of business while delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new and existing commercial insurance accounts through prospecting, networking, and referrals.
  • Identify the insurance needs of business clients and recommend tailored products and services that mitigate risk and safeguard their operations.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, carriers, and industry partners.
  • Stay informed of changes in insurance regulations, industry trends, and emerging market opportunities.
  • Collaborate with underwriters and other internal team members to deliver competitive and accurate coverage solutions.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of company offerings, compliance guidelines, and underwriting requirements.
  • Meet or exceed sales production goals by managing a sales pipeline and closing deals efficiently.
  • Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to client inquiries, conducting ongoing risk assessments, and assisting with claims when necessary.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Required License: Active and current insurance producer license is required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial lines insurance sales or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of commercial policies and coverage options, such as liability, property, workers’ compensation, and professional liability.
  • Proven ability to generate leads, secure new accounts, and retain existing clients.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a talent for building trust and rapport.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and other relevant technology tools to manage client interactions effectively.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Insurance, or a related field is preferred but not required.
