Assistant Account Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Account Manager to join a team. This role is integral to supporting our account management team and ensuring the smooth operation of our agency. The ideal candidate will have an active Property & Casualty (P&C) license in Texas and experience in an independent insurance agency.

Compensation Package

• Salary: $40,000 - $50,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact by answering phones and acting as a receptionist.
• Assist account managers with clerical and administrative tasks.
• Support the management of small commercial lines accounts under $100k in premium.
• Utilize Applied Epic software to manage client information and accounts.
• Provide exceptional customer service to clients and maintain professional communication.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Licenses/Certifications: Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license in Texas is required.
• Experience:
  • Prior experience in an independent insurance agency is required.
  • Familiarity with small commercial lines accounts is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Applied Epic software is preferred.
• Work Environment: This is a fully onsite position, requiring attendance at the office five days per week.
