Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated Personal Lines Account Manager to manage and nurture relationships with individual clients, ensuring their insurance needs are met. Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with individual clients, providing personalized insurance policy guidance.
  • Assist clients in identifying their personal insurance needs and recommend suitable solutions such as home, auto, and renters' policies.
  • Oversee a portfolio of accounts and ensure proactive communication about renewals, claims, and updates.
  • Assess and manage risks associated with personal lines policies while offering appropriate coverage recommendations.
  • Respond to client inquiries and concerns promptly with exceptional customer service.
  • Collaborate with insurance carriers and internal teams to process policy changes, renewals, and endorsements.
  • Explain insurance policies to clients in detail, including coverage terms, exclusions, and conditions.
  • Handle billing, premiums, and payments, and assist with resolving billing-related issues.
  • Remain updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and new insurance products to provide the best solutions.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Experience & Skills:

    • Proven experience as an Account Manager, preferably in personal lines insurance, or a related role.
    • Knowledge of personal insurance products, including auto, home, and liability policies.
    • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills to build trust and long-term client relationships.
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proficiency in insurance software, CRM platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Education & Licensing:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field (preferred, not required).
    • Active Property and Casualty Insurance license or ability to obtain within a designated timeframe.
