Senior Commercial Lines Account Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and servicing a portfolio of large and complex commercial lines clients. You will play a critical role in maintaining exceptional customer relationships, ensuring accuracy in policy management, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the service department.

Compensation Package

  • Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000 per year (up to $120,000 for exceptional candidates).

Responsibilities

  • Manage and retain an existing book of business comprising large and complex clients.
  • Review and process bill renewals, new policies, and policy changes.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of commercial insurance policies for accuracy, resolve coverage discrepancies, and communicate changes to insurance carriers.
  • Address coverage questions, research issues, and resolve problems efficiently.
  • Interact with carriers and internal/external customers to deliver exceptional customer service and ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
  • Oversee the renewal submission process, including applications, exhibits, narratives, loss runs, and underwriting responses.
  • Disseminate new or updated market information to leadership and the service team.
  • Identify areas for improvement and propose solutions to enhance the effectiveness of the service team.
  • Submit applications to eligible carriers and follow up to ensure timely receipt of quotations and policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Valid resident Property & Casualty insurance license.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of, or ability to learn, AMS360 and ImageRight systems.
  • Strong understanding of insurance coverages and the ability to communicate them effectively to clients and underwriters.
  • Familiarity with insurance regulations, industry standards, and compliance best practices.
  • Expertise in commercial insurance underwriting, coverage, and rate analysis.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple responsibilities while meeting deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude and willingness to assist others.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
