 Senior Commercial Lines Account Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a dynamic team. This role is integral to our continued growth and success, offering an opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of accounts in the construction and oil & gas industries. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in commercial insurance, exceptional organizational skills, and a client-focused approach. This position offers a hybrid work environment following an initial training period.

Compensation Package

  • Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a book of business with premiums ranging from $7MM to $8MM.
  • Handle accounts with premiums between $150K and $1MM, primarily in the construction and oil & gas sectors.
  • Oversee marketing efforts, client communications, and invoicing.
  • Quote new and renewal business as needed.
  • Collaborate with assistants who handle certificates, endorsements, and change requests.
  • Ensure timely and accurate service delivery to clients.
  • Maintain organized and detailed records of client interactions and account activities.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Licenses/Certifications: Property & Casualty (P&C) license required; additional designations are a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5+ years in commercial insurance, with a focus on construction and oil & gas accounts.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Epic software is preferred, but training will be provided if necessary.
  • Soft Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a driven, client-focused mindset.
  • Work Schedule: Availability to work onsite during the training period (30-90 days) and transition to a hybrid schedule thereafter.
