Job Summary
Seeking a dynamic and motivated P&C (Property & Casualty) Broker to join the team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the insurance industry, particularly in property and casualty, and a proven ability to connect clients with the best insurance solutions. This role involves working closely with clients, underwriters, and internal teams to ensure exceptional customer service, accurate policy recommendations, and competitive pricing.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their P&C insurance needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Act as a liaison between clients and insurance providers, ensuring optimal coverage at competitive rates.
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify client needs and recommend appropriate insurance products.
- Negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing with underwriters to secure favorable policies for clients.
- Review policy documents, endorsements, and coverage details to ensure accuracy and alignment with client requirements.
- Stay informed of industry trends, regulations, and market conditions to better serve clients and advance company goals.
- Manage the renewal process, proactively communicating with clients to discuss any adjustments to their coverage or rates.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support the implementation of new business processes and customer engagement strategies.
- Provide client education on risk management strategies, policy options, and claims procedures.
- Address and resolve client inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Previous experience as a P&C Broker or in a similar insurance role.
- Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.
- Demonstrated knowledge of property and casualty insurance products, underwriting processes, and risk management practices.
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain trusting client relationships.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to evaluate complex insurance needs.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, for client consultations, presentations, and policy explanations.
- Proficiency in insurance management software and tools, with the ability to quickly learn new systems.
- Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certification such as CIC, CPCU, or ARM is a plus.
- Experience working with complex or high-value accounts.
- Familiarity with risk analysis tools and forecasting models.
