Commercial Lines Producer
Job Summary
Seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Lines Producer to join a team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Commercial Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance, a proven ability to independently prospect and develop business, and established relationships within the Erie community. This position offers a unique opportunity to grow a book of business while leveraging significant Employee Benefits cross-selling opportunities.

Responsibilities
- Develop and grow a portfolio of Commercial P&C accounts, targeting small to middle-market businesses.
- Independently prospect and build relationships with potential clients, focusing on accounts generating $10,000 to $100,000 in agency revenue.
- Leverage existing community relationships to identify and secure new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to cross-sell Employee Benefits and other services.
- Maintain a strong understanding of coverage options, market trends, and effective sales strategies.
- Participate in regular sales coaching sessions and pipeline discussions with leadership.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Proven experience as a Commercial Lines Producer with a strong technical knowledge of Commercial P&C insurance.
- Established network and community relationships in the Erie, PA market (preferred).
- Ability to independently prospect, develop, and manage a book of business.
- Expertise in coverage, markets, and sales strategies.
- Niche expertise in industries such as hospitality, manufacturing, or automotive is a plus.
- Open to candidates with non-competes, provided a strategic business plan is developed.
