Job Summary

Seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Lines Producer to join a team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Commercial Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance, a proven ability to independently prospect and develop business, and established relationships within the Erie community. This position offers a unique opportunity to grow a book of business while leveraging significant Employee Benefits cross-selling opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow a portfolio of Commercial P&C accounts, targeting small to middle-market businesses.
  • Independently prospect and build relationships with potential clients, focusing on accounts generating $10,000 to $100,000 in agency revenue.
  • Leverage existing community relationships to identify and secure new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to cross-sell Employee Benefits and other services.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of coverage options, market trends, and effective sales strategies.
  • Participate in regular sales coaching sessions and pipeline discussions with leadership.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Commercial Lines Producer with a strong technical knowledge of Commercial P&C insurance.
  • Established network and community relationships in the Erie, PA market (preferred).
  • Ability to independently prospect, develop, and manage a book of business.
  • Expertise in coverage, markets, and sales strategies.
  • Niche expertise in industries such as hospitality, manufacturing, or automotive is a plus.
  • Open to candidates with non-competes, provided a strategic business plan is developed.
