Personal Lines Service Representative with Sales Potential

Job Summary

Seeking a motivated and dynamic Personal Lines (PL) Service Representative who is eager to contribute to a team. This role offers a unique opportunity to combine service expertise with sales potential, with the possibility of transitioning into a more sales-focused position within six months. The ideal candidate will have a Property & Casualty (P&C) license and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service while driving business growth.

Compensation Package

  • Base Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 annually (commensurate with experience and qualifications)
  • Incentives:
    • 20% commission on new business and renewals
    • 50% commission on new business generated externally
    • Renewals commission up to 30%
  • PTO: Competitive package

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional service to personal lines clients, including quoting new and renewal business using AI quoting tools.
  • Work with carriers such as Grange, Auto Owners, Nationwide, Safeco, Wayne, and Western Reserve.
  • Handle standard personal accounts and, if applicable, small business commercial accounts.
  • Answer client inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell and upsell insurance products to meet client needs.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Manager and other team members to achieve departmental goals.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Licenses: Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license is required.
  • Experience: Previous experience in personal lines insurance is preferred. Familiarity with small business commercial accounts is a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Hawksoft and AgencyZoom (or similar software) is highly desirable.
