Account Manager - Self-Funding/Large Group
Job Summary
Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Account Manager with expertise in self-funding and large group accounts to join a team. This role requires a dedicated professional who can manage accounts from A-Z, including servicing and marketing, while providing exceptional client support. The position is based onsite and offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and growth-oriented environment.
Compensation Package
- Salary Range: $50,000 - $90,000 (commensurate with experience)
- Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package offered
- Work Environment: Onsite, full-time
- Travel: No travel required
Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of account servicing and marketing for self-funded and large group accounts, ranging from 100 to 500 lives.
- Handle new and renewal business quotes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Provide exceptional client support and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal teams.
- Utilize Applied Epic software to manage accounts and ensure seamless operations.
- Collaborate with producers and other team members to achieve departmental goals.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulations to provide informed guidance to clients.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Licensure/Designations: Active Life & Health (L&H) license required.
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in account management, with a proven track record of handling self-funded and large group accounts.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Applied Epic software is preferred.
- Expertise: Strong understanding of self-funding and large group insurance processes, including quoting, servicing, and marketing.
- Attributes: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.
