Account Manager - Self-Funding/Large Group

Job Summary

Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Account Manager with expertise in self-funding and large group accounts to join a team. This role requires a dedicated professional who can manage accounts from A-Z, including servicing and marketing, while providing exceptional client support. The position is based onsite and offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and growth-oriented environment.

Compensation Package

• Salary Range: $50,000 - $90,000 (commensurate with experience)
• Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package offered
• Work Environment: Onsite, full-time

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of account servicing and marketing for self-funded and large group accounts, ranging from 100 to 500 lives.
• Handle new and renewal business quotes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Provide exceptional client support and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal teams.
• Utilize Applied Epic software to manage accounts and ensure seamless operations.
• Collaborate with producers and other team members to achieve departmental goals.
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulations to provide informed guidance to clients.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Licensure/Designations: Active Life & Health (L&H) license required.
• Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in account management, with a proven track record of handling self-funded and large group accounts.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Applied Epic software is preferred.
• Expertise: Strong understanding of self-funding and large group insurance processes, including quoting, servicing, and marketing.
• Attributes: Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.
