Commercial Lines Account Manager
Job Summary
Seeking experienced and dedicated Commercial Lines Account Managers to join a team. This role involves managing a book of business and providing exceptional service to a clients. We are looking for candidates with expertise in mid-to-large commercial accounts as well as small commercial accounts. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in account management, a strong understanding of commercial insurance, and the ability to quickly adapt to our processes after a comprehensive training period.

Compensation Package
- Salary Range: $60,000 - $120,000 (targeting around $80,000, based on experience)
- Work Arrangement: Hybrid (4 days in-office, 1 day remote after training; Asheville location offers 2 days remote)
- Relocation Assistance: Open to considering relocation for the right candidate

Responsibilities
- Manage a tailored book of business, including generalist accounts and carriers such as Builders Mutual, Cincinnati, Auto Owners, and Selective
- Handle accounts in various industries, including construction, contractors, and retail businesses
- Provide A-Z service, including renewals, quoting, and marketing
- Quote new and renewal business, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, and internal teams
- Utilize Applied EPIC software for account management and documentation
Qualifications/Requirements
- Licenses/Certifications: Property & Casualty (P&C) license required
- Experience:
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in commercial lines account management
- Preferred: 5+ years of experience managing accounts with premiums of $100,000+
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Applied EPIC software is a plus
- Soft Skills:
- Well-spoken, articulate, and polished
- Confident and personable, with strong interpersonal skills
- Organized and process-oriented, with a clear understanding of desk management
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
