Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Commercial Lines Account Manager (CLAM) to join a collaborative and family-oriented team. This role is integral to supporting our growth and maintaining a commitment to providing exceptional service to a clients, which include religious organizations, non-profits, schools, and churches. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in commercial lines insurance, a passion for client service, and a proactive approach to managing accounts.

Compensation Package

  • Salary Range: $60,000 - $83,000 annually, based on experience.
  • Benefits:
    • 100% employer-paid health insurance for employees.
    • 30% employer contribution for dependents on high-deductible health plans.
    • Profit-sharing plan.
  • Work Schedule: In-office with one day of work-from-home flexibility after one year.
  • Start Date: July.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of accounts, including religious organizations, non-profits, schools, and churches, with account sizes ranging from $500,000 to $200,000.
  • Handle certificate-heavy tasks related to events hosted by clients.
  • Process endorsements, conduct renewal marketing, and present renewal proposals to clients.
  • Recommend additional lines of coverage to meet client needs.
  • Quote new and renewal business as required.
  • Utilize a Salesforce-based system with AI capabilities to manage accounts efficiently.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless service delivery.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Licenses/Certifications: Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a commercial lines insurance setting. Experience with non-profits, schools, or religious institutions is preferred but not required.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with EPIC or similar insurance management software. Experience with Salesforce-based systems is a plus.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Collaborative and team-oriented.
    • Personable with strong interpersonal skills.
    • Detail-oriented and organized.
    • Proactive and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications in insurance are a plus.
