Our client, a well-established specialty insurance organization with a strong presence in the property & casualty market, is seeking a FULLY REMOTE Product Manager (Financial Lines) to join their Regulatory Compliance team.
The Product Manager (Financial Lines) will support the development, enhancement, and maintenance of commercial insurance products. This role partners cross-functionally with underwriting, compliance, legal, actuarial, and operational teams to help bring products to market efficiently and ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements.
MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE:
- 5+ years of experience in drafting language for commercial insurance forms. Experience with drafting policy wordings for one or more of the following commercial insurance products: Lawyers Liability, Miscellaneous E&O, Employment Practices Liability, Errors & Omissions Liability, Directors & Officers E&O, ISO Commercial Crime, Independent Mono Line Crime, Fiduciary, Excess Liability REQUIRED
- 5+ years of experience in reviewing, analyzing and summarizing insurance laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft wording for commercial insurance forms, including policies, coverage parts, endorsements, state amendatories, and applications.
- Coordinate product development initiatives and manage timelines across multiple departments.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to revise policy forms and rating plans .
- Conduct market and competitor research to identify trends and product comparisons.
- Prepare and submit form, rate, rule filings to the State Departments of Insurance and draft responses to state objections
- Monitor industry updates, regulatory changes, and bureau circulars to support product compliance and implementation.
- Analyze insurance laws, rules and regulations to ensure commercial insurance products comply with all applicable state and federal requirements
- Assist with the rollout and maintenance of policy forms, rates, and related systems updates.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Insurance, Risk Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in drafting language for commercial insurance forms. Experience with drafting policy wordings for one or more of the following commercial insurance products: Lawyers Liability, Miscellaneous E&O, Employment Practices Liability, Errors & Omissions Liability, Directors & Officers E&O, ISO Commercial Crime, Independent Mono Line Crime, Fiduciary, Excess Liability REQUIRED
- 5+ years of experience in reviewing, analyzing and summarizing insurance laws and regulations.
- Prior experience in preparing and submitting SERFF form, rate, rule filings to the State Departments of Insurance.
- Experience reviewing and analyzing ISO and DOI circular bulletins .
- Prior experience working with insurance related applications such as PK1Cloud (formerly statefilings.com) and ISO is a plus .
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base salary: $130K–$150K with some flexibility for the right candidate
- Medical/Dental/Vision – effective 1st day of the following month
- 22 PTO days
