Commercial Lines Account Manager

Location: Brooklyn, NY
Schedule: Hybrid – 4 Days In Office / 1 Day Remote
Employment Type: Full-Time

An established independent insurance agency is seeking a skilled Commercial Lines Account Manager to join its growing team in Brooklyn. This opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented insurance professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has experience servicing complex middle-market commercial accounts.

The agency is looking for someone with strong experience handling accounts within real estate, construction, and/or healthcare industries, along with the ability to manage client relationships from renewal strategy through day-to-day servicing. Experience working in Applied Epic is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and service a commercial lines book of business from soup to nuts
• Handle renewals, endorsements, certificates, policy changes, audits, and client requests
• Market and remarket accounts with carriers to secure competitive coverage and pricing
• Work closely with producers, underwriters, and carrier partners to support client retention and growth
• Review policies and coverage details to ensure accuracy and identify gaps in coverage
• Prepare proposals and renewal presentations for clients
• Maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and responsive service
• Assist with negotiating terms, coverage enhancements, and renewal strategy
• Utilize Applied Epic for policy management, documentation, and workflow tracking
• Support accounts within industries including real estate, construction, and healthcare

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Commercial Lines Account Management experience preferred
• Experience servicing real estate, construction, and/or healthcare accounts required
• Strong knowledge of commercial insurance coverages including General Liability, Property, Auto, Umbrella, Workers Compensation, and package policies
• Experience with Applied Epic highly preferred
• Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team environment
• Active Property & Casualty license preferred
