Our client is seeking an experienced Workers’ Compensation Claims Adjuster to manage a caseload of Arizona workers’ compensation claims from inception through resolution. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Arizona workers’ compensation laws and regulations, excellent investigative and negotiation skills, and the ability to effectively manage multiple claims in a fast-paced environment.

 

Salary/Benefits:

  • $ 75,000 - $ 90,000 annual salary

Requirements:

  • Active Arizona Workers’ Compensation Claims Adjuster authorization from the Industrial Commission of Arizona (ICA) – required
  • Active Arizona Property & Casualty (P&C) License – required
  • 3+ years of experience handling Arizona workers’ compensation claims
  • Strong knowledge of Arizona workers’ compensation laws, rules, and procedures
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage a high-volume caseload
  • Proficiency with claims management systems and Microsoft Office

Responsibilities: 

  • Manage a full caseload of Arizona workers’ compensation claims, including lost time and medical-only files
  • Conduct thorough investigations to determine compensability, including reviewing reports, statements, and medical documentation
  • Evaluate claims exposure and establish appropriate reserves in accordance with company guidelines
  • Coordinate and communicate with injured workers, employers, medical providers, and legal counsel
  • Ensure timely and accurate claim handling in compliance with Arizona statutes and regulatory requirements
  • Manage litigation with defense counsel, including strategy development and attendance at hearings, mediations, and depositions as needed
  • Facilitate return-to-work efforts and collaborate on claim resolution strategies
  • Maintain detailed and accurate claim file documentation
