Commercial Lines Account Manager
Location: Hopewell Junction, NY (Hybrid)
Salary: 70-90k depending on experience 
Agency Size: Small to Mid-Sized Independent Agency

Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a well-rounded Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a growing independent agency based in Hopewell Junction, NY. This is a hybrid role supporting a diverse book of business across multiple industries, including retail, restaurants, construction, and contractors. The ideal candidate is a true generalist who is comfortable handling a variety of accounts and thrives in a collaborative, client-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and service a generalist commercial lines book of business across multiple industries
• Handle day-to-day account servicing including endorsements, certificates, billing inquiries, and policy changes
• Prepare and process renewals, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Market new and renewal business to carriers to obtain competitive coverage options
• Review policies and provide coverage recommendations based on client exposures
• Work closely with producers to support new business and maintain strong client relationships
• Respond to client inquiries promptly and provide high-level customer service
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date account information in AMS 360

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of Commercial Lines Account Management experience
• Experience working with a variety of industries (retail, hospitality, construction, contractors, etc.)
• Proficiency in AMS 360
• Strong knowledge of commercial insurance coverages and policy structures
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Active P&C license required
