Personal Lines Account Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and professional Personal Lines Account Manager to join a growing team. This role is integral to the Personal Lines department, which handles a diverse portfolio of standard to middle-market personal lines accounts. The successful candidate will manage a book of business with $2M in premium, working closely with clients to provide exceptional service, process renewals, and offer tailored insurance solutions. Compensation Package

  • Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 annually, commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of personal lines accounts ranging from $5,000 to $40,000 in premium.
  • Provide end-to-end account management, including quoting, processing endorsements, and handling renewals.
  • Advise clients on additional lines of coverage and ensure their insurance needs are met.
  • Work with carriers such as Mercury, Travelers, Safeco, and E&S markets.
  • Handle California Fair Plan policies and understand DIC (Difference in Conditions) coverage.
  • Maintain organized records and ensure timely follow-ups with clients.
  • Collaborate with the Personal Lines Department Lead and other team members to meet departmental goals.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Licenses/Certifications: Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license in California is required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in personal lines insurance, with exposure to California Fair Plan and DIC coverage preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in AMS 360 software is highly desirable.
