Responsibilities

  • Proactively prospect and acquire new commercial insurance clients through direct outreach, networking, referrals, and marketing initiatives.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients by providing exceptional service, understanding their needs, and offering personalized insurance solutions.
  • Identify and evaluate client risks and recommend appropriate coverage options from a range of commercial insurance products, ensuring comprehensive protection for business operations.
  • Create and execute effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed individual and company performance targets.
  • Partner with underwriters, account managers, and other internal teams to develop competitive insurance proposals.
  • Stay updated on insurance market trends, regulations, and available products to provide clients with optimal solutions.
  • Ensure all sales activities comply with industry laws, regulations, and company policies.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Valid and active Property and Casualty Insurance Producer License.
  • Proven experience as an insurance producer or in a sales/business development role, preferably in commercial insurance.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, policies, and risk management concepts.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build rapport with diverse clients and businesses.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in insurance industry software and tools, as well as general office applications.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with other team members to achieve mutual goals.
