Personal Lines Rater

Job Summary

Seeking a detail-oriented and professional Personal Lines Rater to join a growing team. This is a fully onsite position where you will collaborate with a team of dedicated professionals.

Compensation Package

• Salary Range: $55,000 - $60,000 annually (commensurate with experience)

• Work Environment: Fully onsite

Responsibilities

• Quote new and renewal business for standard personal lines insurance accounts.
• Perform rating, marketing, and negotiation tasks to ensure competitive and accurate pricing.
• Collaborate with carriers such as Chubb, Travelers, Hanover, Cincinnati, Safeco, and Berkley One to secure optimal coverage for clients.
• Utilize AMS360 software to manage accounts and streamline processes.
• Maintain a high level of professionalism and accuracy in all interactions with clients and carriers.
• Support the team in achieving departmental goals and contributing to the overall growth of the company.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in personal lines insurance, with a focus on rating and marketing.
• Property & Casualty (P&C) licensure or designation is required.
• Proficiency in AMS360 software is preferred.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a professional, onsite office environment.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
