Personal Lines Producer/Sales Agent

Job Summary

Seeking a motivated and experienced Personal Lines Producer/Sales Agent to join a dynamic and collaborative team. Compensation Package

  • Base Salary: $40,000 annually (negotiable based on experience)
  • Performance-Based Bonuses: Uncapped earning potential through cross-selling and upselling commissions (60%-70% of new business)
  • 401(k): 3% employer match after one year, with additional profit-sharing contributions (5% of income in the previous year)

Responsibilities

  • Actively produce and manage Personal Lines and Commercial Lines accounts
  • Engage in fieldwork to generate new business opportunities
  • Quote new and renewal business, leveraging experience with carriers such as Grange, Auto Owners, Travelers, and Progressive
  • Utilize Hawksoft and PL Rater software for account management
  • Collaborate with senior service representatives to ensure seamless client service
  • Demonstrate self-sufficiency by taking initiative and problem-solving independently

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Licenses: Property & Casualty (P&C) license required
  • Experience: Proven track record in a similar role with the ability to hit the ground running
  • Preferred Carrier Experience: Familiarity with Grange, Auto Owners, Travelers, and Progressive is a significant advantage
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Hawksoft and PL Rater software
  • Soft Skills: Strong self-sufficiency, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to work
  • Work Arrangement: Open to onsite, hybrid, or fully remote candidates (remote candidates must be in the same time zone)
