Commercial Lines Account Manager/Marketer

Job Summary

Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager/Marketer to join a team. This role offers the opportunity to manage a significant book of business, focusing on both renewals and new business marketing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial lines insurance, excellent marketing skills, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative and client-focused environment. This is an onsite position for the first year, with the potential for one remote day per week after demonstrating strong performance.

Compensation Package

  • Salary: $75,000 - $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a $2M-$3M book of business, with a focus on 60% renewals and 40% new business marketing.
  • Handle daily tasks such as certificates, billing, and rating.
  • Quote new and renewal business, with a primary emphasis on renewals.
  • Collaborate with carriers such as Westfield, Liberty Mutual, Travelers, Selective, Firegroup Donegal, and others.
  • Work with a diverse range of industries, including contractors, restaurants, bars, and other generalist accounts.
  • Utilize Hawksoft software to manage accounts and streamline processes.
  • Ensure excellent client service and maintain strong relationships with clients and carriers.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Licenses/Designations: Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.
  • Experience: Proven experience in commercial lines insurance, with a strong background in marketing.
  • Familiarity with carriers such as Westfield, Liberty Mutual, Travelers, and others is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in using Hawksoft or similar insurance management software.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills to handle a high volume of renewals and new business.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to ensure a good cultural fit within the team.
  • Ability to work onsite for the first year, with the potential for one remote day per week after demonstrating strong performance.
