Commercial/Personal Lines CSR
Job Summary
Seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial/Personal Lines Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join a growing team. This role will involve a 60/40 split between commercial and personal lines, supporting the expanding commercial department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to manage a variety of accounts. This is a full-time, in-office position with opportunities for professional growth and stability within a collaborative and supportive work environment.
Compensation Package
- Hourly Rate: $15.50 per hour
- Commission: First-year total compensation estimated at $45,000 - $50,000
- Benefits: No health benefits offered
- Work Environment: Full-time, in-office
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients in both commercial and personal lines.
- Handle quoting for new business and renewals.
- Process applications, certificates, and other necessary documentation.
- Manage a variety of accounts, including small businesses, contractors, local restaurants, foster care organizations, and more.
- Work with accounts ranging from under $5,000 in premium to some accounts up to $50,000.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth operations and client satisfaction.
- Utilize EZLynx software for daily tasks and account management.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience with E&S markets, including Amwins and Tapco, is a significant advantage.
- Proficiency in quoting new business, renewals, and processing applications and certificates.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Familiarity with EZLynx software is preferred.
