Assistant Account Executive

Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Account Executive to join a team. This role is integral to supporting growing operations in the construction insurance sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of General Liability and Excess Policies, particularly within the construction space, and will be responsible for assisting with renewals, endorsements, proposals, and client communications. Compensation Package

  • Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 annually, based on experience

Responsibilities

  • Assist with renewal processes, including sending and following up on renewal emails and documentation 90 days prior to deadlines
  • Update underwriting analysis and client records as needed
  • Process endorsements, policies, forms, and tax filings
  • Prepare proposals and finance agreements
  • File documents and emails from insureds/agents
  • Occasionally make outbound calls to agents to follow up on pending items
  • Support quoting of new and renewal business
  • Collaborate with the Account Executive and other team members to ensure efficient workflow

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Licenses/Designations: Property & Casualty (P&C) license required
  • Experience: Minimum of 5+ years in a similar role, preferably in the construction insurance sector
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Applied EPIC and TAM software
  • Soft Skills:
