Job Summary

Seeking a motivated and customer-focused Personal Insurance Account Executive to join a growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and expanding relationships with individual clients by providing tailored insurance solutions and exceptional customer service. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring client satisfaction, retention, and growth.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for personal lines clients, addressing inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assess clients’ insurance needs and provide personalized recommendations to meet their unique requirements.
  • Explain policy features, terms, and coverage options clearly and transparently to clients.
  • Proactively identify and pursue opportunities to cross-sell and upsell insurance products and services.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, ensuring a positive and consistent customer experience.
  • Prepare and present tailored insurance quotes, reviewing and finalizing applications with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with underwriters, carriers, and internal teams to address policy issues and ensure timely resolution.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, market conditions, and competitive products to provide informed advice to clients.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of client communications and transactions in compliance with company policies.
  • Contribute to team efforts and participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance skills and performance.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Account Executive, Insurance Agent, or similar role in the personal lines insurance industry.
  • Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.
  • Ability to explain complex insurance concepts in a clear and approachable manner.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain meaningful client relationships.
  • Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding performance targets.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency with insurance management software and common office tools (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not required.
