Broker's Assistant

Job Summary

Seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Broker's Assistant to join a team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fully remote position with a dynamic and fast-growing insurance organization. The successful candidate will support a Senior Broker in managing a diverse book of business, primarily focused on binding business across multiple lines of Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance. Compensation Package

  • Salary: $65,000 - $72,000 annually (hourly role)
  • Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package, including 401(k)
  • Work Environment: Fully remote position (must be able to work PST hours)

Responsibilities

  • Review incoming submissions and gather supplemental information
  • Prepare accounts for underwriting review
  • Issue endorsements, binders, and certificates of insurance
  • Support the Senior Broker in managing a book of business
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and accurate processing of accounts

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in wholesale brokerage, with a strong understanding of binding markets
  • Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license required
  • Familiarity with General Liability, Property, Inland Marine, and Excess lines of business
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment and adhere to PST working hours
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
