Personal Lines Producer – Inside Sales Position

 

Job Summary
An established and growing independent insurance agency is seeking a motivated Personal Lines Producer to join the team. This role is ideal for a sales-driven individual passionate about helping clients protect what matters most while building a long-term career in the insurance industry.

 

Responsibilities

  • Generate new personal lines business through outbound calls, referrals, networking, digital marketing, and community engagement, including warm leads from the commercial department.
  • Assess client needs and recommend appropriate insurance solutions.
  • Prepare and present customized insurance quotes from multiple carriers.
  • Close new business and manage follow-up communications.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure retention and identify cross-selling opportunities.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, products, and compliance requirements.
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales goals and performance metrics.

 

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of sales experience.
  • Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license in New York.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, competitive, and goal-oriented.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and work independently.
  • Comfortable with CRM and quoting systems; experience with Applied Epic is preferred but not required.

 

Compensation Package

  • Base Salary: $42,000 – $52,000 (commensurate with experience) + commissions
  • Performance bonuses and sales incentives
