Personal Lines Account Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Personal Lines Account Manager to join a team. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing personal lines accounts, handling inside sales, and providing exceptional customer service to valued clients. Compensation Package

  • Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000 per year (based on experience)

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional service to personal lines clients by managing and servicing accounts.
  • Process new business applications and handle policyholder servicing.
  • Collect complete underwriting information from walk-in and telephone prospects.
  • Prepare and present competitive insurance quotes for new and renewal business.
  • Conduct claims reporting and follow-up to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Perform regular account reviews to improve client retention and identify opportunities for cross-selling and account rounding.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with producers, clients, insurance company underwriters, and the sales team.
  • Maintain accurate records of policy changes and updates.
  • Assist with individual or corporate projects as assigned by management.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Licensure: Possession of a P&C Insurance License is required. Candidates without a license must be willing to obtain one (training costs covered by employer).
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in personal lines insurance within an independent agency is preferred.
  • Proficiency in using agency management software preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to multi-task, follow through, and follow up effectively.
  • Professional phone etiquette and customer service skills.
  • Positive, enthusiastic, and team-oriented attitude.
