Job Summary

Seeking a motivated and client-focused Personal Insurance Account Executive to join a team. This role is ideal for a professional with strong interpersonal skills and in-depth knowledge of personal insurance products. The Personal Insurance Account Executive will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with new and existing clients, providing guidance on insurance policies, and ensuring a seamless customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by providing tailored insurance solutions based on their needs.
  • Develop and grow a personal book of business by identifying new opportunities and fostering long-term client relationships.
  • Explain, recommend, and cross-sell personal insurance products and services, including home, auto, and umbrella policies.
  • Provide proactive support to clients during policy renewals, ensuring the right coverage and competitive pricing.
  • Act as a liaison between clients and insurance carriers, advocating for the client during claims and addressing any issues that arise.
  • Utilize CRM tools to document all client interactions and track opportunities efficiently.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, regulations, and new product releases to best serve client needs.
  • Conduct regular policy reviews with clients to adjust to changing needs or life circumstances.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Account Executive in personal insurance or a similar client-facing role.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of personal insurance products, coverages, and industry trends.
  • Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to explain complex insurance terms in a clear and relatable manner.
  • High level of organizational and time-management skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient in using CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with insurance-specific software is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities with a client-first mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
