Job Summary
Seeking a detail-oriented, customer-focused, and results-driven Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will act as a knowledgeable advisor to commercial clients, providing exceptional service and maintaining strong relationships to ensure client satisfaction. You will oversee the daily management of commercial insurance accounts, providing expertise and innovative solutions tailored to the needs of diverse clients.
Responsibilities
- Manage and service a portfolio of commercial lines insurance accounts, ensuring timely and efficient handling of renewals, endorsements, and policy changes.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining a relationship of trust and partnership.
- Collaborate with producers to identify new business opportunities and provide tailored solutions to meet client needs.
- Review and analyze policies, endorsements, and proposals for accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Provide clients with guidance on coverage options, policy changes, and risk management strategies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date account information in CRM systems and adhere to internal workflows and documentation protocols.
- Monitor market trends, underwriting guidelines, and policy changes to provide clients with the most current information.
- Foster strong relationships with insurance carriers and negotiate terms on behalf of clients.
- Assist clients in the claims process by providing support and advocacy.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Proven experience as an Account Manager in the commercial insurance industry.
- Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.
- Strong knowledge of commercial lines insurance products, coverages, and industry standards.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable with CRM systems and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- High level of attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving ability.
