Commercial Lines Account Manager / Customer Service Representative

Job Summary

Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative to join a well-established and growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a family-owned agency that has a reputation for excellence. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting producers, assisting clients, and maintaining strong relationships with carriers. This position is fully onsite and offers a supportive and collaborative work environment.

Compensation Package

  • Base Salary: $60,000 - $75,000 (commensurate with experience)

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, producers, and carriers, ensuring seamless communication and issue resolution.
  • Assist in new business acquisition and remarketing efforts.
  • Provide detailed and accurate answers to client inquiries regarding coverage and carrier processing.
  • Support producers by gathering necessary information and facilitating efficient workflows.
  • Maintain and grow a book of business, handling varying account sizes.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
  • Partner with the Account Executive to deliver exceptional service and achieve team goals.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Licenses/Certifications: Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license is required.
  • Experience:
    • At least 3 years in an independent insurance agency (5+ years preferred).
    • Proven experience working with producers and carriers across various lines of business.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with AMS360 software is a plus.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and take initiative.
    • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse personalities.
    • Professional demeanor and presentation.
    • Problem-solving skills and the ability to ask insightful questions.
    • Comfortable handling high-pressure situations and being put on the spot.
