Senior Field Loss Control Representative
Job Summary
Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Field Loss Control Representative to join a team. This role involves conducting on-site loss control surveys, underwriting evaluations, and providing expert guidance to policyholders and agency partners. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction risk assessment, workplace safety, and air quality testing. This position requires extensive travel throughout Southern New Jersey and the Tri-State Area, with the flexibility to work from home when not in the field.
Compensation Package
- Salary Range: $95,000 - $137,000 annually
- Retirement Benefits: 401(k)
Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site loss control surveys and underwriting evaluations to assess potential hazards.
- Prepare detailed loss control reports and provide recommendations to policyholders to mitigate risks.
- Investigate accidents and collaborate with policyholders to improve safety measures.
- Communicate available loss prevention services to policyholders and agency partners.
- Attend safety meetings and represent the company in professional settings.
- Develop, enhance, and deliver training programs focused on loss prevention.
- Travel extensively within Southern New Jersey and the Tri-State Area, with occasional travel to Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Delaware.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience: 5-7 years of experience in a safety-related field with a focus on construction risk.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of workplace safety and nationally recognized standards and codes.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Analytical and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Certifications:
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) strongly preferred.
- OHST (Occupational Health and Safety) certification preferred.
- Language Skills: Bilingual in Spanish is strongly preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Expertise in air quality testing and construction risk assessment.
- Additional certifications in safety and industrial hygiene.
