A Richmond-based insurance brokerage is looking for a motivated individual to help support its ongoing growth. This role involves working closely with Producers to maintain existing accounts, enhance client relationships, and identify opportunities for cross-selling. As a frontline representative of the agency, the Customer Service Representative (CSR) interacts with clients daily, ensuring their needs are met and often serving as the first point of contact for claims.
Qualifications & Skills:

Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Proficient with technology and equipped with strong verbal and written communication skills.

Committed to professional development, including obtaining a professional designation within 18 months of employment.

Excellent time management and organizational abilities; capable of handling multiple tasks and service requests simultaneously.

Strong attention to detail and ability to stay focused.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality service to existing clients by becoming proficient in carrier portals, online endorsements, and technology tools.

Follow the agency’s Procedures Manual for servicing clients and documenting interactions.

Ensure timely delivery of policies, endorsements, certificates, and other essential documents.

Manage policy renewals efficiently through the agency’s platform.

Proactively follow up on outstanding claims, applications, and underwriting requirements.

Support clients with billing questions and invoicing issues.
