Seeking a dedicated, customer-focused Personal Insurance Account Manager to join a dynamic team. The successful candidate will manage personal insurance accounts, ensuring that client needs are met with attention to detail, prompt communication, and a thorough understanding of insurance products.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, acting as their primary point of contact for personal insurance needs.
- Assess client needs and recommend appropriate insurance coverage options.
- Process new insurance applications, endorsements, renewals, and cancellations in a timely and accurate manner.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve insurance-related issues promptly and professionally.
- Proactively review client accounts and offer recommendations for adjustments or additional coverage to ensure their insurance needs are fully met.
- Coordinate with underwriters, carriers, and internal teams to secure the best terms and coverage for clients.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of client interactions, policies, and transactions.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, policy changes, and regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to a positive team culture by fostering collaboration and engaging with colleagues in a supportive manner.
- Assist with cross-selling opportunities and identifying potential referrals to grow the business.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Proven experience as an Account Manager in the insurance industry.
- Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.
- Strong knowledge of personal insurance products, policy types, and industry practices.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficient in using modern office software and agency management systems.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
