Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Personal Lines Account Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor to clients, delivering exceptional customer service while managing all aspects of personal lines insurance accounts. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting clients with policy management, addressing inquiries, and identifying opportunities to enhance coverage and ensure client satisfaction. Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with clients to ensure their insurance needs are met.
  • Proactively manage and service personal lines accounts, including policy renewals, changes, and cancellations.
  • Provide timely and accurate responses to client inquiries related to coverage options, claim processes, billing concerns, and policy updates.
  • Educate clients on insurance coverage options and recommend suitable plans to meet their specific needs.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards, industry regulations, and carrier guidelines in all account management activities.
  • Assist with the preparation of quotes, proposals, and policy documents in collaboration with carriers and underwriters.
  • Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities to enhance client portfolios and strengthen relationships.
  • Support the claims process by gathering relevant information and facilitating communication between clients and carriers.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of carrier products, industry trends, and market changes to serve clients effectively.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to ensure seamless client experience and excellent service delivery.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in personal lines account management or a related role within the insurance industry.
  • Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication with the ability to explain complex insurance terms in a clear and concise manner.
  • Proficiency in using insurance agency management systems and Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Proven ability to build relationships with a diverse client base, maintaining a high level of professionalism and empathy.
  • Analytical thinking with attention to detail to solve client issues effectively and efficiently.
