Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, providing exceptional service to clients and ensuring their insurance needs are fully supported. Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain a portfolio of commercial lines accounts, ensuring excellent customer service and client satisfaction.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing concerns, answering questions, and handling policy changes or updates efficiently.
  • Collaborate with insurance carriers to secure competitive quotes and renewals that meet client needs.
  • Prepare and present proposals to clients, outlining coverage options and recommendations tailored to their business objectives.
  • Assist in claims management, working as a liaison between clients and carriers to ensure timely and accurate resolution.
  • Review client accounts periodically to ensure proper coverage levels are maintained and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with company standards and industry regulations.
  • Stay up-to-date on insurance industry trends, products, and regulatory changes.
  • Contribute to process improvements, ensuring efficient workflows and excellent service delivery.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Account Manager or similar role within the commercial insurance industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of commercial insurance products, services, and industry best practices.
  • Current and valid TX General Lines insurance license.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain trust-based relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Effective organizational skills with a keen attention to detail, capable of managing multiple accounts and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in insurance management software and general office applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
  • A proactive, customer-focused mindset with problem-solving abilities.
