Personal Lines/Commercial Lines Insurance Account Manager - Hybrid 

Serves customers by providing Agency product and service information, providing assistance and resolving claims and service problems. 

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Attracts potential customers by answering product and service questions; suggesting information about other products and services.

     

  • Maintains strong clientele relationships by responding to inquiries and documenting actions, assisting in filling of policy documents and proactively identifying and resolving errors.

     

     

  • Receives S.O.S calls from clients who have been involved in an accident, vehicle breakdown, or clients who need assistance with their vehicles and mobilizes help for such clients.

     

  • Receive visiting customers and provide them with necessary assistance.

     

  • Offers information about price quotes to prospective customers via cross selling existing clients, X Dates, QNS leads and new clients.

     

  • Manages and protects the reputation of the agency.

     

  • Opens and maintains customer accounts by recording and updating account information.

     

  • Resolves product and/or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint, determining the cause of the problem, selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem, expediting correction or adjustment and following up to ensure resolution.

     

  • Utilizes management software to record all conversations with clients including details of inquiries or complaints and action steps taken.

     

  • Understand the company’s insurance policies and products to determine whether a policy covers a type of loss.

     

  • Communicate changes or adjustment in policies to clients. Send newsletters, mails, and other forms of correspondences to customers.

     

  • Ensure new business meets carrier’s compliance standards.

     

  • Prepares product and/or service reports by collecting and analyzing customer information.

     

  • Performs additional tasks as requested or as needed.

 

Requirements:

  • Must have an active P&C license
  • Must have working knowledge of agency management softwares (Hawksoft preferred but not required)
  • Must have excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work in fast paced Insurance environment
  • Ability to work within a team environment
  • Ability to self-direct the completion of insurance related job duties
