Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Workers Compensation Claims Adjuster to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for investigating, evaluating, and resolving workers' compensation claims in a timely and fair manner.

Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze workers' compensation claims to determine coverage and liability
  • Conduct thorough investigations, including obtaining medical and employment records, interviewing claimants and witnesses, and collaborating with medical professionals
  • Evaluate and negotiate settlements within established authority limits
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders including claimants, employers, medical providers, and legal representatives
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies
  • Document claim activity and maintain accurate records
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to claimants throughout the claims process

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Workers Compensation Claims Adjuster or similar role
  • Proficiency in interpreting and applying workers' compensation laws and regulations
  • Strong analytical and investigative skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail
  • Knowledge of insurance claim processing software systems
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, or related field (preferred)
  • Valid Claims Adjuster license (where applicable)

Compensation Package

  • Compensation: $45.00-$47.00/hr (depending on experience)
  • Remote work schedule available
