Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Workers Compensation Claims Adjuster to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for investigating, evaluating, and resolving workers' compensation claims in a timely and fair manner.
Responsibilities
- Review and analyze workers' compensation claims to determine coverage and liability
- Conduct thorough investigations, including obtaining medical and employment records, interviewing claimants and witnesses, and collaborating with medical professionals
- Evaluate and negotiate settlements within established authority limits
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders including claimants, employers, medical providers, and legal representatives
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies
- Document claim activity and maintain accurate records
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to claimants throughout the claims process
Qualifications/Requirements
- Proven experience as a Workers Compensation Claims Adjuster or similar role
- Proficiency in interpreting and applying workers' compensation laws and regulations
- Strong analytical and investigative skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail
- Knowledge of insurance claim processing software systems
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, or related field (preferred)
- Valid Claims Adjuster license (where applicable)
Compensation Package
- Compensation: $45.00-$47.00/hr (depending on experience)
- Remote work schedule available
